On Thursday, March 14, Suzanne Wagner gave a talk for the regular University of Pennsylvania Linguistics Speaker Series. Entitled "What might individual differences tell us about language change across the lifespan?", it reported on some experiments conducted in the MSU Sociolinguistics Lab. These were replications of the "newscaster" experiment of Labov et al (2011).
