Ashley Hesson is working with Heike Pichler (Newcastle University, UK) to present a workshop at DiPVaC 2014. The workshop will explore discourse-pragmatic variation in healthcare settings, highlighting applications and opportunities for cross-disciplinary research. This will be Ashley's second time representing the MSU Sociolinguistics lab at DiPVaC. She's looking forward to sharing her research on variation in physician-patient interactions and reuniting with her DiPVaC colleagues!
